Air Quality & Noise Control in the UAE 2015 Conference

The common image of all GCC’s countries, where exhaust gases and toxic particulate pollutants are released into the atmosphere directly – without proper treatment is rapidly changing. To improve further the newly arrived at environmental awareness, a conference is planned for November in Abu Dhabi.

Air Quality & Noise Control UAE 2015.

With a view to raising air quality levels 90% by 2021 as a part of the National Agenda, the UAE’s Ministry of Environment and Water has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, the Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi, Dubai Municipality, Fujairah Municipality, the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman and Sharjah Municipality, for the launch of the UAE Air Quality Network.  It is also urging the relevant sectors to address the issue of noise pollution with an emphasis on implementing noise control technology to improve the quality of living generally.

As more pressure is placed on the sectors responsible for air and noise pollution, organisations are encouraged to optimise their processes for emissions and noise reduction, engage in air and noise levels monitoring and comply with the latest standards and regulations.

It is worth mentioning that the global air quality monitoring equipment market is expected to exceed $6.1 billion by 2019 growing at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 9.15% between 2014 and 2019, and that the environmental testing market is projected to reach more than $9.5 Billion at a CAGR of 6.4% by 2019, according to the Marketsandmarkets’ report .

Air Quality & Noise Control UAE Conference will gather key regulators, industry stakeholders, air monitoring and noise control equipment and solution providers to discuss the latest regulatory updates, case studies, initiatives and best practices in technology implementation to help improve air quality and noise levels for sustainable and healthy cities.
